The last week has been constantly slow, we have had westerlies and southerlies winds and also rain for some days, so we have closed the nets before the five hours of standard were complete several times.

Today we have had another slow day, but we had a very nice surprise in the nets, a gorgeus juvenil Wryneck!! We were extremely happy to put in practise our knowledge and use the books to be able to age it. We kept the nets open until 13:45, we decided to close because in the last three rounds we got 4 birds.

In the afternoon we relaxed a bit, catch up with some reading (I am reding "H is for Hawk"), Anton and Ana went to Birkemose for a walk and I did some extra gardening.
