"Dream Team" gone, Dream Species arrive
In the first round only four birds (four species): a willow warbler/løvsanger, a wren/gærdesmutte, a dunnock/jernspurv and a special one.
This weekend I decided to come the day before I was expected, which was yesterday. The fuglestation was closed for two days and I thought it was a good idea to catch already early this morning instead of tomorrow. Lucky decision I made, which resulted in a special catch. A river warbler/flodsanger, a new hand species for me.
It is as far as I could discover 10 times caught in Gedser (see figure). It is a real spring early summer species: 2 times in May, 5 times in June, 2 times in July and 1 time in August.
