Frost!
Today, the temperature was below zero and some nets were a bit frosten, probaly making them visible. But this was a really nice morning, with no wind and not much clouds.
I had the feeling the number was good after a few rounds, but in fact many birds were retraps!
All in all, 32 new birds were ringed and no less than 25 other birds were retraps from the previous days except for two: a new swedich Dunnock was trapped today and a danish dunnock was also coming from another place than gedser!
Some birds were trapped in "couple" one male and one female - "honey, did you take your suitcase?" So, here are some pictures:
And also, a new blue tit was trapped, this really common bird is still very nice in the hand (when there is only one!) and I couldn't resist to put you a picture of it as well.
