Ringmærker søges til Gedser Fuglestation
Gedser Fuglestation søger en eller flere ringmærkere til dels at dække marts 2010 samt efterårssæsonen 2010 på Gedser Odde i perioden fra 20. juli til 15. november.
Vi kan tilbyde :

- • Diæter á 150 kr. pr. døgn
- • Fri ud- og hjemrejse (inden for landets grænser) ved minimum 1 måneds ophold
Vi forventer af dig :
- • Du er kvalificeret A- eller B-mærker
- • Du gennemfører standardiseret ringmærkning i henhold til fuglestationens program
- • Du indskriver dagens mærkninger til ring-databasen og DOF-basen
- • Du er aktiv ved "Åbent hus" og andre formidlingsaktiviteter

Ringer wanted!
Gedser Bird Observatory and Ringing Station seek one or two professional ringers for the fall migration.
Conditions are as follow; mandatory is that you must have a valid license to ring birds in your own country (which you should send us a copy of), and the license to ring must cover all species of birds which occurs in Europe. Furthermore you should be able to stay for a period of no less than 30 continues days.
We ring for five hours per day from ½hr before sunrise (opening of nest start app. 40 min before).
You will be part of a team of adult males +50 years of age and two or three much younger but also males.
There are a few mandatory chores attached to the job as weed pulling, mowing the lawn and be helpful during our few but regularly open “house” events.
We provide; free lodging, free transport to and from the ringing station (but only the distance within our country’s borders), and a bicycle is provided at the station in order for you to get around a little on your own. Per diem is 150 DKR per day – will be paid at the end of the period.
When?
From 20'th July to 15'th November.
Where?
Place Gedser Point – the most southern point in Scandinavia and of course in Denmark. The house is very charming and is pretty new with all modern facilities (though no TV).
